Consumer Rights Day
26 October 2016
Experienced conciliators from the EGCC spoke at the New Zealand-wide Consumer Rights Day conference sponsored by the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE) on Wednesday 26 October 2016. The discussion focused on disconnections, outages and bills and served as a reminder for advocates to contact us if customers are having trouble with their electricity or gas bills. In addition to speaking, we were available to answer questions throughout the day.
Consumer Rights Day brings together speakers from government, ombudsmen schemes and organisations that deal with complaints from people when they have a problem with different kinds of services.
