EGCC a finalist in the IBM Kenexa Best Workplaces programme
23 September 2016
The Office of the Electricity and Gas Commissioner (EGCC) has been named as a finalist in the Small-Medium category of the 2016 IBM Kenexa Best Workplaces programme, based on New Zealand’s largest and longest running study of workplace climate and employee engagement.
The Best Workplaces survey identifies the best places to work in New Zealand, as rated by employees.
The EGCC has been a finalist or winner of this award every year since 2011 when EGCC was eligible to enter the contest.
According to Nanette Moreau, Electricity and Gas Complaints Commissioner, “We are honoured and proud to announce the EGCC has once again been named a finalist in the best workplaces programme. We believe that the care and attention that every person on our staff devotes to creating a great workplace is similar to the high quality care and attention with which we conduct our dispute resolution work.”
IBM Kenexa Best Workplaces is the largest and longest running employee engagement survey in New Zealand and a definitive measure for ‘best employer’ and 'employer of choice,' with 17 years of experience and extensive industry benchmarks.
Final awards will be announced on 3 November, 2016.
