Jerome Chapman named Utilities Disputes Deputy Commissioner

Utilities Disputes Commissioner Nanette Moreau today announced the appointment of Jerome Chapman as Deputy Commissioner for the Scheme.
“Jerome has been with The Office of the Electricity and Gas Complaints Commissioner (EGCC) since 2004 and during this time was promoted to Team Manager. He became Acting Deputy Commissioner of the EGCC in March, 2016. His appointment to Deputy Commissioner of Utilities Disputes recognises his significant contribution and commitment to the organisation,” Commissioner Moreau said.
Mr Chapman is an accredited Resolution Institute mediator and was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor in 2011.
He holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Science from Victoria University, Wellington and is currently working towards a Masters of Business Administration, University of Otago.

Mr Chapman is a public member of the Advertising Standards Authority Board.
