Case notes are anonymous examples of cases we have dealt with. You can search for case notes by issues, year, type, or case number.

Please note: case notes from before 1 November 2016 will refer to outdated terminology, including our old name (The Office of the Electricity and Gas Complaints Commissioner).

Tips on searching case notes:

At least one of the four fields above must be selected in order to conduct a search.

If searching for:

  • Issues, such as 'billing', 'disconnections' or 'lines', enter the word(s) as text in 'issues contains'. You may also leave this blank
  • Year of the case note, select from the 'year' drop-down. You may also leave this as 'any'
  • Types of case notes, such as electricity or gas, select from the 'type' drop-down. You may also leave this as 'any'
  • A case example, a conciliator may give you a case number, enter this in 'case number'. You may also leave this blank

Once you have filled in one or more fields, select the 'find' button and the results of your search will be displayed.
